Same here.......love detecting, fast bikes, love shooting although its only air rifles over here, jealous about the ancient indian artefact hunting.Always wanted a go at archery......there are a few craftsmen in my area that still make old English longbows which i will definately try one day.Not long parted with my hayabusa.......absolutely awesome bike, great allrounder.View attachment 24498
The kz's are starting to get good money over here now, quite uncommon.Love the z900.......how bikes should look.
Plus the fact that the 2 isn't going to find you any more than the 1 in reality. So I love the dues 1. I have two very old gen 1 machines. Sometimes my daughter or a buddy goes with me and I let them run my spare machine. I’m about to buy a new gen 1 because it worries me they may stop making the gen 1. I also have a buddy with the gen 2 who says he likes the gen 1 better but he wanted the waterproof capability of the 2. I personally have filled multiple display cases with the 1 and it just seems to never let me down. I can’t justify spending the money on a 2 because I don’t go out detecting as much as I use to. I also don’t feel
Like starting over with the learning curve. My machine is on the charger now and I’m headed out to a site I wasn’t able to find a few years back and I actually stumbled across it shed hunting the other day. Crazy how things can be hiding right under your nose.
Rallies and club digs in the U.K. shows many are still working fineno 9x6 coil so i am sticking with d1 and no rush for d2
I'm not so sure. Do you remember a while back when Garrett introduced the Equinox? The claim was that the Equinox will make all other metal detectors obsolete. While the Equinox proved to be a really good detector, many other brands and models are still out there. Never be fooled by the hype.I had a Deus for a few years then sold it and bought an Equinox 800 when they first came out. Since then I've had back surgery and really haven't done too much detecting. My plan is to start back up this spring and I really want another Deus but don't want to break the bank on the new Deus 2. My question is will the DEUS 1 be obsoleted now that the DEUS 2 is out? I can pick up a used Deus 1 for half the price of the 2 but don't want to do that if it's going to be an obsoleted detector. Thanks in advance and sorry if this has already been brought up.
