Last week's finds

Ohio pull tabs

Well-known member
I went out three times last week. On my first hunt at at a park near my house I found a 1956 Rosie. On my second hunt at a park not to far from my house I found a nice token probably my favorite one I have ever found says Avoca park with a 15 on it and a cool latch. I knew about this trail head but didn't realize the history there. So on my last hunt in the cow pasture I found a thimble a flat button and a D buckle and a large cent a Matron.

Couple of people said it was a 1831 but I can't see anything
Try a carbon rub trace.
Pencil or art carbon stick.
Place paper over it.
And rub the carbon on the paper.
And keep the paper steady and tight over the coin or object to trace.
Works great on unreadable tomb stones too.
Where I learned that from some old fart.
Now I'm the Old fart. LoL
Good Luck
