wireless bluetooth receiver aptxLL rated

Well-known member
Ive giving up on earbuds an bonephones so who has used a bluetooth aptxLL receiver so they can use any set of headphones.I dont even know if you can buy bluetooth receivers that or truely aptxLL rated. if anyone has used one, what is a good receiver to buy?

I've had a number of friends use the Garrett Zlink and love it.
yes, Ive been using the zlinks for years, off an, on my dfx. but i was wanting a receiver so i could use any wired phones I wont. the legend has bluetooth built in transmitter so i cant use my zlink receiver. the receiver that I would use has to be aptxll rated bluetooth.

This is what I use. Switch to receiver and it will pick up signals from apex-LL detectors and send them to whatever headphones you attach to them. You might need an adapter because of the ⅛" stereo port but a ⅛ to ¼ adapter is cheap. You can also use it as a transmitter that plugs into older detectors and allows you to use aptx-LL headphones. I can use Nokta Legend or Equinox 800 phones on my F75 and others.

You can also buy an adapter for wired headphones and plug the x-link into it. I hope that helps.

I really like the Legend headphones.
Quite comfortable actually.
And as PW said.
You can connect about anything to it.

Your right about the adpt. one came will my legend when i bought it, but i used it to rig to a pair of Garrett headphones to use when water hunting. Im going to get another adpt. the way i hook my zlink receiver, when using on my dfx is, On my phones,I wrap the excess cable around one of the shaft then hook the receiver on my cap an plug it in. ready to go. I can do the same thing with my legend. I use the xp light weight wired backphones. I really like them. Anyway thanks for all your help. by the way I use the wireless headphones that came with my legend. they do work fine also, but they do make my ears hurt a little sometimes.
