Like most detectorist over the years I have found pieces of watches but never a whole one, working or not. No gold pieces though. A couple of silver backs but mostly tin types. All were found in farm fields. Some poor worker looked at his watch, thought he put it in his bib pocket and it hit the ground. Ironic that later he could have run over his own watch with his tractor but more likely a team of mules pulling a plow or harrow. M M , a nice find!
