    thanks steve, very well put... just reading about the vision and seeing 'wheresthegoodstuff's' photo's makes me want one... I'm a turf hunter for the same reason you're a gold hunter, cause that's what I've got in my area. Hopefully Minelab will step up (or unleash some R&D work in progress)...

    I'd like to see a "Minelab E-trac Classroom" forum spot.....

    for folks who've purchased the E-trac and simply wish to communitcate with other E-trac owners, re settings, et al. I mean, it's just another new detector that the owner's wish to become proficient with. I think it's evolved beyond just taking up space in the generic explorer forum 'spot'...

    e-trac threshold linearity question?

    I'm using a threshold value of 15 which is still a bit too loud (in a quiet area). but if I drop to 14 the sound drops too much (essentially silent) which forces me to be stuck at 15. Seems like the sound intensity gap between 15 and 14 is too large, ie non-linear. can someone else check to see...

    Wondered if anyone knows if the F70's 10" concentric coil will be available on March 1 for F75 owners to buy. Also, at what price and will the lower stem be included as with the small coil. With the advertised 12" depth this should be an interesting companion to the standard 11" DD on the F75...

    Uniprobe & F75?

    Thinking about a probe now, what with deeper holes now. Any opinions about the 'pocket' uniprobe? It's expensive but I like the power (depth) they advertise. Also the on-off belt mounting looks like it would work without too much bother. As a side note, the 'locking' rod collars have cracked on...
