I'm at a loss on this one!

Some folks selling the Equinox 800 and some planning to buy.

These are real close to my settings, Nox 800 here. I recently have moved from 5 tones to 50 just to see what happens in that regard. And again, like you, if I'm closing in on a trashy home site or in some other trashy area, I some times move to Park 1. I run sensitivity around 22 if I can get...

    5 more minie's and a ???

I can't thank you enough for the quick ID of a couple of these items. Indeed, this site is one that surely has other treasures to yield. I appreciate your help!

    5 more minie's and a ???

I froze my buttooski off today but since the ground is still fit to dig I went out in the mud field and dug up a few goodies. So, the one boolit has a kind of a star pattern in it's base. These 5 make for a total of 61 bullets thus far from this field. I pretty much guarantee there's more :)...

Field yields a few more boolits

Sorry, I have no clue. I suspect from having dug other chain over the years that this one is old based on the deterioration of the iron.

Field yields a few more boolits

So I went out in the cold today, 35 degrees and windy. This farm has a few spots I've discovered. Two separate civil war sites thus far, and an old cabin/shack location where the old Catholic Mother Mary medallion and the floral button were liberated. I included the little bit of chain, well...

    I like my NOX

I wanted to c'mon in here and post up some pictures of a farm site I've been working. This stuff was dug in the past 10 days or so. I run the Nox 800, field 2, sensitivity +2, 5 tones, Multi, constant ground balance, otherwise no change to settings. It's the second detector I've ever owned...

Have You Ever Been Envious Of Your Friend..?

My bud will send me text pictures he downloads off the internet, you know, some guys hand holding a GW inaugural button, or some other fantastic find, just to get me going :) I used to get pangs of envy, but not so much any more. However, my detecting friend never dug GOLD either!!!

Nox 800 in a Pennsylvania Farm Field

Nox 800 in a Pennsylvania Farm Field

Funny thing about farms. I've been on some where there's little to be found. Others, like this one, always yield up something when I go over there. I'm not sure what they were doing back in the day, but a good many of those coins, and buttons, were found in an area the size of a football field...
