    Minelab Equinox 700 / 900

    From what I'm seeing and hearing the new quality upgrades are phenomenal. Then on top of that you have the expanded VDI, just more icing on the cake. I have asked several for there opinion on buying a new 700, 900 or Legend. Not one has said the Legend.

    Let us know how it performs compared to your 800. I hear they made some minor upgrades to the performance as well.

    I'm upgrading from the Vanquish 540, I no doubt want to purchase another Minelab. I like the Manticore but it's very expensive so I may settle for either the 700 or 900. From what I see, I believe the Equinox holds an advantage over the Legend when it comes to performance

    If I were a betting man, I would bet that the new 700 and 900 won't leak, break coil ears or have shaft wobble.😊

    I hear you but the new 700 and 800 are now rated for 16ft underwater. If I were a betting man, I would bet they resolved the leaking issue. Happy hunting

    From what I see most don't have issues. I have several hunting buddies who own the Equinox and they never had any issues as well.

    I hear and understand what you're saying but do car and any other product makers do such, I don't think so. Just like anything else, you continually improve your product. I know several Equinox 600 and 800 owners who never had any issues. Anyway I hear you, happy hunting and best of luck to you.

    Not sure why fixing some of the Equinox issues are a kick in the teeth. Equinox owners have been complaining about coil ears breaking, leaking and etc. They fix the issues and you call it a problem, I just don't understand your thinking.

    Good question. Also why hasn't Minelab updated the Equinox shaft, even to put on the Vanquish shaft would be a great improvement.
