    It is, I used it for the first time this past Saturday, for that reason I won't get the 9" when it's available, even though id really like one 🙄

    Those marketers know what they're doing. It's $1000, but hey, it comes with a extra coil, so you're getting a deal..not really, It's not the coil everybody wants imho, but you can buy the 9" when it comes out and you can't unload your 8.5x5 because everybody has one 😬

    No pain or discomfort, just the feel...not a deal breaker..obviously not, I bought one 🤣. I love what they did with the menu and the shaft set up, doesn't rotate until it's retracted, at that point you can spin for easy and more compact storage.

    Its like the manticore and equinox series detectors, has a cheap look and feel to it unlike the original legend in my humble opinion.

    Absolutely..that hand grip on L2 leaves a lot to be desired. Everything else is great imho.

    I have a 700 also, not going to be too hasty throwing up a comparison. From my short hunt yesterday it seems that my L2 may be a little more stable with vdis.. maybe because of the range? It does run quieter. Hopefully I'll be able to get out again Saturday to get more time in.

    I went out yesterday for abt 3 hrs, my 1st coin was a 52 quarter, no doubt my L1 woulda found it but you know how it is 🤣. It was an absolute pleasure to swing! I had to put the rubber racket tape on the handle, only thing I don't like is the handle. Installed a couple programs, went in and out...

    Vdi numbers...

    Anybody understand the anatomy of vdi numbers 0-99 on legend 2.. 0-99 on the simplex..why is a nickel 45 on on L2 and 25 on simplex?
