    Park caretaker "No Detecting til "

    "Til we have a good rain" said I could hunt the bare ground areas, but not grassy areas until the soil is moist. Anyone else had that happen?

    East Texas beaches

    We are pkanning a trip around Beaumont - Galveston TX. Years ago I heard Padre Island was a NO DETECTOR ZONE, but recently heard is now OK. Are most public beaches in TX alright to hunt?

    clad hunting -who long to wait before returning

    I used to live where the parks were OLD (1800s), now I live in a place were schools and parks are newer (1970s), so I have clad hunt more, How long do you normally wait for these areas to be 'restocked' with newer coins?

    Belltone when scrubbing ground.

    So far I'm not used to the bell and high tones going off so much when the coil is close to ground. When I raise it to pinpoint ,the tone lowers or even discs out. Is this normall?

    We'll see how my AT Pro does against my Ace 250

    I'll have my Pro Monday,so I'm hitting a few spots with the 250 ,and then go back over them with 'da Pro' . A tot lot nearby is void of most coins under 6 inches. The Ace has been getting deeper than the wood chips and finding them down in the red clay. Can hardly wait.
