At Pro great day at the park

Me and my AT Pro had a good day at the park Sunday. After finding 5.13 in clad I got a dime signal in a ball field and dug a sterling silver Saint Timothy pendant.

    Hunting Downtown

Hunting downtown around any large city has it's challenges and rewards. I took my new AT Pro to a large pounded site near downtown Where I live and it was a mixed bag of broken bottles, bottle tops and large iron. But since this area goes back to the 1820's you never know what you will find. So...

Never Been a Garrett Fan But...

After long consideration and research I purchased a AT Pro friday. I have mostly hunted with Tesoros which I consider to be great detectors. But I have to admitt from the first time I held the AT Pro it just felt right. Some of my detecting friends have used them on some of our hunts and did...

    Cibola at the beach

Took the Cibola to the beach this morning for a few hours. Found the usual clad and the unusual. The tungsten ring was found on one of my last swings. The unusual pendant was found by some chairs. Always fun to hunt beaches. Kinda like a box of chocolates, never know what you'll find.

    Cibola Gets Rosie

Went to a new park this morning for a few hours. The Cibola with the 5.75 concentric coil was cutting right through the trash. I was coin shooting today. I know most people don't think of a Tesoro as a good coin machine but it's great for going deep for old coins. As you can see I found lots of...

    Why a Tesoro?

I can remember when I was young, kids would say, "my dad can beat up your dad!" Seems funny now but I still here the same thing with metal detectors now. "my detector can beat your detector!". Well I have owned lot's of detectors over the years but I can honestly say that the Tesoro Cibola is...
