It's refreshing to see more well rounded reviews.

I always look over anything i buy these days. Check screws if its appilicable, check bolts, for bent or damaged pieces. Todays standards are lower than they used to be by employees at manufacturing and assembly plants. Not talking about xp or the new deus but just in general. Lots of 20...

What are property marker made of

I have seen many different types, rebar flat to the ground and sticking out the ground, with or without plastic caps. Cement with nails in them with a brass plate with the surveyors information. Pipes with a cap with the surveyors name stamped in. I was tasked with locating a set for a neighbor...

    Any Air Gunners?!

I guess i've been extremely lucky, have had my maruader for almost 4 years now and it has sat on the gun rack when i'm not using it with 2800psi, doesn't leak at all.

    Brief rant

The thing that worries me is that eventually there are not going to be many places left to go somewhere down the road. maybe decades or centuries away who knows. I'm fortunate to be one of few in my area that metal detect, and have dozens of places to go that are even rarely seen by people. But...

    CZ-3d gone?

In the one time i did swing one, it did seem to be a fine detector, used it on a beach in florida for about 15 minutes.

Again i can't even begin to count the number of variables of why or how something could be missed.

    My thoughts on Detectors lately

I can say for sure groundhogs do pull up targets lol. Found some nails and old lead that one retrieved pushing dirt out of a hole once a long time ago. Thats what the hobby is about. I can say this as long as its making you happy or doing what you want it to do, you've got the right detector...

Etrac old school or is it 🤔

I was excited when nokta unveiled the invenio, i think im spelling that right. Then i saw the price tag and watched some footage on it, and i wasn't as impressed, but still it looks neato and has its nitch. Thought we were making a huge step there

    My thoughts on Detectors lately

In regards to the earlier post, i sure hope they don't release anything like that anytime soon. I like going to my spots and always being able to find at least something good, hate to see the day where it only takes a pass or two on the ground to remove everything. What about future generations...

    My thoughts on Detectors lately

Just to go off on another topic for a minute, lets pretend that there is a new machine coming out in the next year that is unlike anything anybody has ever used. It finds stuff that you wouldn't believe, quarters at 12 inches like they are 2 inches down with a 9 inch coil, gold rings with a...

    Battery

I'm not saying it couldn't happen, but the chances are small. Don't leave a rechargeable detector in a hot car, and don't be banging the control box to hammer nails. As long as you keep away from that and use the appropriate charger you should be just fine
