    Musket part

That trigger guard looks old to me.. I believe the part just in front of the trigger guard with the hole in it is for a sling mount The section that is below the trigger appears wider than the rest of the guard too which is common on older trigger guards.

    Elite lower problem !

I bought an extra lower shaft to use on my XTerra Pro a couple years ago, and it did not seem to want to go into the middle shaft. I noticed there was a slight difference at the top of the shaft like you mentioned, but it actually did go up into the middle shaft. I posted about this a while...

Don’t know what this plate is or used for but it’s heavy brass

Pretty interesting mg find…. It appears to be curved in the photo. If so, any thought if that was the original shape?

    Old woods still produce

Great finds! Looks like you found a little hotspot. Those two quarters have been carried carried quite a while before being lost….may have been a coin spill like you stated to find them in a small area.

    First military button

Nice find… I tried looking up the backmark to help date it for you. I found S.N. MEYER, and that backmark dates from 1890-1925. Since yours has a N.S. MEYER NEW YORK backmark, it may date later.

What are these? and dating too

I would tend to agree… the button looks like a piece button. If you can make out the words on the back, that will narrow it down some too.

What are these? and dating too

Two of the items appear to be buckles of some sort…one appears to be brass, but is missing the iron tongue. The button looks like a two piece button…can you post a photo of the front of it?
