    That is a nice display and there are quite an array of finds there.. a lot of digging to get all that!!! Just curious….i do not see any axe heads or harmonica reedplates….. I am almost guaranteed to find these around old house sites that date back to the time frame where these finds came from...

    I have been trying an old school lately and like you, found a few silver coins in one small area. This school yard is huge and yet I have not found any silver coins anywhere else other than this small area. Only I can figure in my case is that this site was pounded, but somehow this small area...

    Personally I hate ticks worse than snakes. At least in the U.S. we only have four poisonous snakes to be concerned with.

    I did a search and did find a lightening rod very similar to what you found. I think you stated it was brass…. Could it be copper perhaps? If so, I feel it is part of a lightening rod. Well, it was a lightening rod….now it is multi marshmallow roaster….🤣

    Congrats on your first of hopefully many large cents? Nice finds on the bullets too! What art of Virginia were you in? We had 85 degrees here one day and the next day it was in the 30’s and snowing like crazy!!

    Some mighty nice finds there Mark…. I like finding skeleton keys! That necklace sure looks like silver to me!
