    Thanks for the help guys! I will look up the one you stated it could be. Since the tree was no U.S.stamp on it, I was starting to doubt it being Civil War era.

    A jeweler that I take my finds to have checked told me that some brands of tungsten ring makers will allow you to trade one in and pay $35 at the time for a replacement that fits your finger. One brand that allows this transaction is “Triton”.

    While we are on the subject, why is it when I look at two different websites, the price of gold is not listed as the same? These two sites are “Silver Recyclers” and “APMEX”.
