    my cuff attachment broke off my atpro ..just a platick stub with a metal insert in it..called Garrett they sent me a new one free and a Garrett ace and a atpro jacket patches also..i have a ace 250..also running the rnb lithium batt haven't charged it yet the last 3 months..great...

    Finally got a detector i can learn...

    had a really nice v3i spectrum but just couldn't get my head into the programming for its maximum use..dug a ton of trash..got a at pro and out of the bag to the yard popped a rosie and then a faint signal no reading a 1914p wheatie..deep...then found a silver dollar size brass lucky rug...

    Well gonna try a lithium ion batt..

    ran the v31 till the batt old orange pack and v3i didnt shutoff till 4.5 volts...ill call whites and ask them about that..ran about 3.5 hrs ..but had everything turned up to drain batt faster..gregg

    not cheap but std rechargables arent either..i hunt so long that my batt voltage drops really low and wondered how many targets I didn't get. .out one day and voltage was down to 4.5 volts..but I was out for 5 hrs...talked to the lithium batt guy in ca..pricey but he said if im not totally...

    noticed that sometimes i can hear very faint tones when sweeping,,maybe a very deep target...or a problem with the detector ,,using the spectra wireless headphones...eclipse 950 coil..coin mode..and somtimes in pro mode..think ive dug more trash in scrap metal than clad..using polar plot alot...

    Found a large brass key in yard

    live in a 1850,s brick farmhouse..17 acres..scratched about 5 bucks worth of clad and a crapload of iron from the yard..slowly getting the yard cleaned up got out the v3i yesterday just goofing around found a clad qtr and 2 mem cents..then found a large brass key under a bush in the side...

    Interesting horse bridle decorations ,,brass hearts

    Live in a brick farm house built in 1858 found a and a strange horse bit under the large maple tree.found some brass hearts with leather strap for a horse bridle...tree is over a hundred yrs old ..found a 4.5 foot buggy rim from the late 1800,s 15 in deep in the front yard..oldest thing found...

    V3I with D2 coil,,hard to pinpoint target

    new v31 user...getting used to all the features but i have the D2 coil and its hard to pinpoint a target..is it out on the end of the coil?? sure pulls alot of targets out of the ground in trash spots....seems the eclipse works the best for pinpointing....use the 4x6 shooter coil for trash...
