    Great Seal Something???

    Anybody have any idea what this is? 43mm in size, brass, appears to be some type of buckle (large loop on rear) Thanks in advance for your help.

    Nasty looking button....

    Dug this on Thursday along with 15 minieballs, frag, tomahawk head. Button turned out to be an Eagle that came out OK. Good luck hunting.

    Today's finds

    10 minieballs, eagle button, camp lead, small piece to a fuse, pocket knife and the big one........3.8 Hotchkiss w/ flame groove, sabot and base.......... This Etrac is the machine on CW relics. Anyone have an idea what the brass object is??

    Few finds I've had with E-trac....

    My Artillery finds with the Etrac from one of my better spots. You can see in the larger frag where the fuse went and a small portion of the powder chamber. The fuse on the right is a Naval water cap fuse that would go in the larger frag. The brass object lower right is half of a clay pipe mould...

    VA BUTTON AND AN EAGLE IN SAME YARD

    Found these two buttons last weekend in the same yard. They are both pre-war and were found on opposite sides of the yard from one another. I have pulled six button out so far out of the nine that have been dug. This is an early 1800's house site. Hopefully, more to come.

    15" WOT DD from Coiltek

    Anybody used this monster with the E-TRAC? Local guy has one (new)for $225.00 includes lower shaft. Any thoughts on the best large coil to use? Thanks in advance.

    Just over one month....

    and I'm keeping my E-TRAC. Here a photo of my keepers w/ the E-TRAC. (5 hunts) It was rainning today and I was bored. This machine is truly a great one and I have alot to learn. Hope everyone is have good luck with theirs.

    Hunted for a few hours today at a spot hammered by my Explorer XS. The site is very trashy as there is a 1902 house still standing near a much earlier homesite. It came in at 12-13 ID, high trash, manual set at 22, basic coin pattern, very slow sweep with numerous target ID checks before the...

    Rain, Rain go away

    Been raining today, so I went by some spots I've been looking at to detect and secure permission. Found a new "old homesite" and secured permission. Can anyone help on the age of the structure? I was thinking maybe early 1900's. Has to be some silver there.
