    Oldest silver yet

Back to my civil war relic site today for an hour to see if I missed any ' easy' signals. Still using the T2, it's been working great for me so far this year so it's replaced the Etrac for now. Settings were sens. 90, 0 disc, 2+ tones, gb 65, stock 11 dd coil. Found the more modern silver...

    First Flying Eagle!

Was not expecting this to pop out! It was a bouncy number but it stayed above 50 and it was a nice tone worn some depth. 1858, pretty worn but I love it! Check this one off the bucket list. I also Found some wheat cents and an Indian head so I guess technically it was an old penny trifecta.

Day spent refilling a rookies holes...

I am extremely upset about this. I arrived at a location where an old hotel used to stand and was excited to start detecting. As I made my way into the woods I was immediately smacked in the face with holes and trash everywhere. Whoever it was that did it was very lucky he want there because...

Yesterday was relics, today was coins!

Man, this T2 is killing it on areas I've pounded with the ATP and etrac. Yesterday dug 18 three ringers at my honey hole. By far my best bullet digging day ever and this is sort of unheard of in eastern pa. Also got an awesome gold cuff link with initials CF, an Indian head penny 1882, and a...

    Need help identifying swastika pin

Found this tiny pin with Swastika a while ago and never got around to asking about it. Came from a park dating back to mid 1850s that had been active up until early 1900s but I have found some things from later. It's not much bigger than 1", pretty tiny. Pin is missing from back . Extremely...

Today was a awesome bullet digging day!

Took the T2 to my honey hole where I have found about 10 old 3 ringers with the Etrac over the last year and many old silver and copper coins. All I gotta say is this T2 loves to hit on that lead! Was an awesome day. I had a couple hours to kill while waiting on getting new tires on the car so...

First trip with the Tek O85

Nice little sterling pendant. Was about 5-6" in a pounded park. Don't know how I missed this with the Etrac but the omega sniffed it out. Nothing else but a penny and bah full off trash but I was just digging everything repeatable today to get tuned into what the omega was telling me. Overall...

    Omega 8500 initial impressions

I Just received my new omega 8500 in the mail today (actually it's my sons birthday present, but i had to make sure it works, right? ) and am excited to put it through the paces. Initial impression is I really like the build quality. Pretty hefty for such a simple looking machine. Arm...

Surf pi kit, first time builder questions

I have been into this great hobby for over 4 years now and I have always loved building and fixing things so it seems fitting that I buy a kit to make my own creation. So far on the geotech I have been introduced to the surf pi kit which comes with a board and all resistors, capacitors, etc to...
