    Pulled the trigger on an Ultra.

    Hmmm I don't even own a simplex but isn't that a pic of the middle rod with the lower rod sticking up with the hole in it. Don't you need to just open the release lever and pull the lower rod out?

    I know its a pain, but next time you find all these great signals with the etrac...mark them and see if the MAX or other detectors you have can actually see them. Would be interesting to see it really is only a factor of swinging over it with the etrac.

    Real Faint 46 ID's

    I've learned not to ignore the real faint high pitched 46 Id's that sometimes bounce into -8. Everytime I've digged a real faint 46 so far it has been an interesting, deep non-ferrous target.     Hello, Anyone have any experience with both machines as far as depth and accuracy of target id? I will be hunting east coast dirt and occasional wet and dry beach sand. If you could have one which would it be? Thanks

    Fors Core hand grip screen problem

    Hello, All of a sudden my Nokta Fors Core is having a couple issues. The screen on the hand grip will either show jumbled characters or show no numbers at all. Also the machine will get stuck in ground grab mode after I release the button for about 30 seconds. Anybody experience this? I guess...

    Fors Core pinpoint depth way off

    Hello, The pinpoint depth seems to be off by a lot on my new Fors Core with 11" coil. Coins that I dig up in the field in the 4-6" range ALWAYS pinpoint somewhere in the 30 something centimeter range. 36 is a depth I see a lot and 36cm is about 14 inches! I just did a test holding a dime...

    Omega 8000 screen protector

    For those who put cell phone or tablet screen protectors on their Omega, how do you get it to stick? The one I cut just slides around. Im not surprised because the protector is made for glass not plastic. Any ideas? Thanks
