    My dog ate my CD...

That came with my E-trac for downloading programs off my computor. The local Minelab dealer says he can't order one from Minelab. WHAT TO DO?

    Roman Site Pattern

The Minelab website has a Roman Site pattern that you can download to your E-trac but for some reason my comp. won't accept it. Is there a way to punch it in manually if the numbers are available. Thanks

    Sovereign coils

I've been thinking of getting an Explorer II and have read about how great the SEF , x-12,x-8, pro coils are. I own an original Sov with an 8 inch Coinsearch coil and would like to know if there are any SEF coils available for my Sov and would they be much better than the Coinsearch coil already...

I understand that the P.I. Pro comes with a floating or non floating coil. How can you tell the difference by looking at the coil? HH

Excal goes quiet in the water.

I just got back from Myrtle Beach and while I was hunting the dry or wet sand the Excal threshold worked perfectly .Different story when submerging it in the water. Walking around in the water , I have the Excal chest mounted, the Excal works perfect until I get it submerged and then the...

    Back from the Caribbean

I usually only get to hunt the ocean a couple times a year either on the eastern seaboard of the good old U.S.A. or the Caribbean, this was one of those times and the Excal worked flawlessly. In the water with 12 pounds of weight on to try and keep some balance and stay vertical, it was a challenge.

And you thought it was cold in Florida!

Here's a spring hunt fom a couple years ago with my Excal 1000 amongst the ice floes, it never missed a beat. HH

    Kudos to Fisher repair.

I recently had a couple problems with my F-75 and called Felix in Texas about it. He had me ship the detector down there and had it back to me here in Canada within 3 weeks good as new. Great service. Thanks. HH

    Gold in the scoop!

I only get to detect the ocean about twice a year and scraped up a couple gold rings and a silver while vacationing in the Dominican. The 585 is the European designation for 14k. Great holiday. HH

    Need some Excal advice please.

I get to use my Excal in salt water maybe twice a year and was on vacation in Punta Cana last week. When I hunt the wet sand and shallow salt water using Disc I get a constant tone when holding the detector still and of course the tone varies when I swing it. Now if I submerge the whole unit...

    Vibraprobe 560 Switch Mod

I use a Vibraprobe 560 with my F-75 and it causes interference to the detector even when it's in my pouch while it is still on, especially when I'm using JE mode on the F-75. If you go to the Modification Forum, you'll see how I installed a switch to end the problem. HH

    Vibraprobe 560 Switch Mod

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's the way I installed a switch on my Vibraprobe 560 so I could turn it off when I want to. First you'll need a rubber leg boot that is used to put on the ends of table and chair legs, size inch and a quarter...
