    GPZ8000 about to drop.

Hi. No need for a pinpointer on those. They're typically with the Monster just down to 3 or 4 centimetres deep, say an inch or two. Its easy to figure out where they are in the scraped out dirt or clay. They were all good signals too. I just narrow down where the signals coming from and scrape...

    GPZ8000 about to drop.

No worries Odan. Nice day here. I live in the Victorian Golden Triangle. Went to an old 1860s gold lead. 3 hrs there. Dug around 20 junk bits and got 7 tiny bits of gold. Mate im pretty worn out with age and stuff so it was just an easy to get to well known spot. But it was great to get out. I...

    GPZ8000 about to drop.

I think my Monster 2000 will be my last detector. If I was younger and fitter I would still wait and watch before committing 15k Aud on any detector. That price jump would really have to coincide with a leap in technology in my opinion. Im going out for a swing with my little monster tomorrow...

    GPZ8000 about to drop.

Its pretty over the top isn't it. I remember when I first started detecting for gold anyone could afford to have a go and buy a good machine for not too much. A battler, don't know what you call one maybe someone struggling perhaps, could get a detector and have a go, it gave them hope. And I...

    GPZ8000 about to drop.

A newie from Minelab out soon. Seeing orders being taken here in Oz. $14,999. Nope not for me at that price. Too broken down now too to put the time in on one, my serious days are over, just having fun now.

Minelab Gold monster 2000 out today!

Ok, gotcha. I use a long handled pick, I have severe arthritis in my lower back, normal bending and kneeling are out as I also have a bad knee. Maybe this like for me can help. This is the pick I use. That flat end is where I push the dug out with my boot onto it, then I let the detector as im...

Minelab Gold monster 2000 out today!

Fair enough, I dig em all regardless. Had too many where everything said bad target and it was gold. I pay no attention to anything number wise nor echo wave sounds. Dig everything.

Minelab Gold monster 2000 out today!

Great machine but the echo wave and ID only work as good as the ground allows it to. Where I am in the Golden Triangle in Victoria Australia I regularly see it give an iron sound to tiny bits of gold due to the mineralisation. Its a feature thats neither here nor there in my opinion but may work...

Minelab Gold monster 2000 out today!

Im in Australia and can't believe how well it works in really bad ground. If id never heard of it and someone gave me a go on it id think I was using a full Pulse Induction detector. The depth on tiny pieces in heavily mineralised ground with ironstone gravels covering them is ridiculous...

Minelab Gold monster 2000 out today!

Just got one. Love it. Works like a dream where other VLFs are utterly useless.

gold Monster 2000- dual PI and multi freq announced

Heard some good positive things on this thing here in Oz. Going deeper on the sub'is than other VLFs in bad hot ground. Apparently its killer within the first 4 inches. According to reliable reports its more than just an ole ho hum VLF or SMF. Jonathon Porter here in OZ is giving it pretty...

    New Nokta PI

Hi. Its bigger than most people think. Its big here in Australia and the US. What lots don't realize is how huge it is in Africa. Its been huge there for a decade and a half. One will notice the Islamic writing on the Minelab Gold Monsters, its there for a reason. I guess too it makes the world...
