Shadow X-5 and Tek G2 Comparisons?

Hey folks, I'm really trying to decide on adding a new detector for my hunting needs, and was wondering if any of you folks have owned and used both of these machines. I used an X-5 for about 9 years and really enjoyed its sensitivity and depth capabilities. Since it and the G2 use the 19 kHz...

Anyone know the latest on when the Teknetics G2 will be hitting our dealers?

I am really looking forward to seeing this detector in action. And, it will probably be my next detector purchase. I'm gonna love that 19kHz! My shadow X-5 had this and it was extremely sensitive to the smaller deeper targets.

Folks, I found this medallion yesterday while water detecting an old swimming hole on a river nearby. The river crossing at this location predates the Civil War, and could have been used for troop movements and camps. That has not been verifeid however. I am sorry about the picture...

    Had a great time!

I understand from many of the exhibiters and dealers that the Memphis Relic Show ain't what it used to be, but for one that just attended his first show, I had a great time. I saw some awesome stuff, and even added a couple of items to my collection. One guy there...... John Turner ( I think...

Folks, throw up a prayer for me, please

I fell in the muddy yard here at home yesterday, and ruptured my patellar ligament..... knee cap is about 3 or 4 inches above where it is supposed to be. Spent about 3 hours in ER yesterday and wound up getting the leg immobilized with a full leg splint. My wife is carrying me to Little Rock...

I'm still learning with this F75 (not the LTD, or F76). I hit a site yesterday for a couple of hours..... a site that my partner and I have hit pretty hard. I had the Sens. set at 92, the Disc at 2, and was using 2F on the tones. I did ground balance 4 or 5 times within the 2 hours...... it...

Posted on the Relic and Bottle Forum

Hey folks, I posted a pic and more of the story in the Relic forum. I was able to get out for a fairly long hunt yesterday with my F75. It was in fairly good ground..... ground balanced all day in the low 60's. I hunted with Sensitivity set at 90 (probably could have gone higher). Disc set...

Took my boss out on his first relic hunt

My boss has an old home place within a rather drawn out battle area in southwest Arkansas. The area has camps and battleground scattered for 5 or 6 miles along an old road. I drove for an hour and a half to meet up with him, and after he showed me around for about an hour...... explaining what...
