    In NY, my ground reads -91 avg. , I have seen -89 to -93.

    If I could not turn off unit with on/off on keypad , I would remove battery pack for a few minutes, Install a charged or fressh AA battery pack , and all should be well.

    I think you MAY have an intermittant In the coil or connector. If not a bad coil connection , MAYBE Iron near the target /coil. Please let us know.

    Broken Coil Tabs

    Hello I have an explorer 2 with the 1000 and a 1050 coil. The coil "ears" , / tabs on coil that attach to the lower rod have Cracked /Broken off. Glue does not seem to work . Any Ideas or fixes for this? Can I fix the coil or somehow attach broken coil to rod ? Thanks.

    Another new V3i User

    Try stretching them, or place em over a basketball over nite to stretch em out. Mine are more comfortable now. N2HUH , N2:confused:
