    I have an e-trac I would consider trading for the ctx. I have a ctx but would love to have a backup. How old is the ctx?

    It's done this a couple times out hunting and I always blamed it on bad ground....I think it a type of inference with the wireless system

    Well went to the beach and pulled out the CTX and it continually nulled. Not sure why... Tried everything and finally went back to original setup on my headphones and bam.... Not sure why but on the beach I couldn't use the Garret wireless setup.

    I will always keep my v3i and also a dfx. Both where and still are really good machines .

    Just wondering if anyone has any setups for the 3030 in a competition hunt.i have used mine in a couple just like normally use it with good success. Just wondering if y'all had any ideas?

    I use the ones that came with the z-link. I like them just fine. I didn't like the ones that came with 3030 and I didn't like the wire after using v3i for several years. That's why I tried the z link... Good in my book... Terry
