    gain - low or high?

    Do you set your gain low or high, and why? I seem to find deep targets more easily with lower gain because they come in as a clean whisper.

    sunray probe installation

    I'm setting up a sunray probe for my new e-trac. Is the coil cable still supposed to run inside the lower rod, or do I need to pull the out and run it around the outside of the lower rod? Is running it outside an issue?
