    I think it's the screen backlight that's the drain. I don't typically run above the mid 20s for sensitivity. Seems to be a sweet spot for me, not to chatty, plenty deep. I purchased new last fall so hopefully it doesn't need a battery already, but you never know. I probably have 40 hrs on it...
