    Things are really slow

    Temps are in the 70s,nice weather for digging but like you the grass is brown and ground is hard. Hope we get some rain soon I see a few corn fields starting to curl up from no rain.

    Called whites factory yesterday and I spoke with a technician, he says to send coil in and they can re null the coil. Once again whites are the best at taking care of their customers.

    wierd depth with a nail

    Its called a halo n I get the same here with deep nails. The iron in the nail is leeching into surrounding soil make it more conductive

    well went back today n found a 1907 Indian n 2 more marbles ran disc 85 am65 salt compensate 12 filter for a while then switched to single freq 7.5. talked to the farmer today n he said that he was going to disc the field tomorrow so going back Saturday. I really hope he turns up some silver...

    Bought coil new from my local Dealer. Silver dimes read 79 and with 950 they were always 81. Gunna call white's in the morning. On a upside I also got the aw 2900 battery, this thing is gunna save me some me batteries all summer long.
