First field hunt of the year

Ohio pull tabs

Well-known member
Went to a field I have permission at. Soy beans hasn't been brought in yet. So I hunted the edges and did pretty well. A conastoga bell my first. A WW1 or WW2 button a 1899 Indian and believe to be powder jar of some sort

Very nice. Your off to a good start this season.

Nice finds! I especially like the Indian. I take it the jar has a metal ring? Is the jar alabaster, ceramic, or glass?
It is nice to be able to get out and actually dig again without having to chip through the dirt.
Yea it does have a metal ring. I think it's milk glass. And I just got home didn't do any good today but the ground is soft enough to dig in finally.

Some nice stuff. 👍
