    13in Ultimate coil

    Yes I have tried one. It worked pretty good in single frequency and not too bad in 3 frequency but the ID was off a bit on the nickels in 3 frequency. I can tell you in sigle frequency it went real deep. Check out this air test video I did with it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bhIhTzVufSc

    Just bought a new V3i!

    If you're looking for depth run in single frequency 2.5 or 7.5. Change to the 5khz filter, use no discrimination or just set the targets you don't want to hear to a 0 tone. Run the discrimination sensitivity pretty high if the detector is stable.

    Ultimate coil for DFX, MXT, M6, MX5

    Coil has only been used a few hours. Will work on DFX, MXT, M6, MX5. It will work on the VX3, V3 and V3i but it is not setup for the 22.5 frequency. You can run it it single frequency on them and get some great depth. Would like $140 delivered. I will pay the paypal fees too. Thanks.

    You could just assign a lower tone to -95 to -1 and then 0-+95 a tone like 200. If you need specific instructions let us know as someone on here can surely help you.

    Not only can it be setup like Larry said you can also adjust the recovery speed. Something you can not do on the Etrac other than select the recovery fast on of off option.

    going to need a better digger...

    Speaking of depth. Me and KHouse from this forum were out last weekend and I hit a deep signal with my V3i. I dug it out but it was only a screw cap. I reburied it at around 13 inches. The V3i was still able to hit it at that depth.

    Using non V rated coils with single frequency

    Will a coil that is made for the M6 etc that is not V rated work ok in single frequency (2.5 or 7.5) on the V3i?

    Looks like most of the ones that have sold on the big auction site have gone from around 750-850. Some a little lower some higher.
