    must be in excellent condition (both cosmetic and mechanical) and have either the 5.75 inch coil or the 7 inch coil.

    Which compadre?

    I am looking at picking up a compadre for the neighbor kid to use. Was waiting to find a decent price on a used one with a 5.75 coil (that way I have a small coil when he isn't using it)....but....found an older used one with a 7 inch coil.....is one more desired than the other?

    FS: MXT tracker e-series

    I think i figured out the pictures thing! Up for sale is my MXT. This machine has very little use as it seems to cause me back pain. I am trying to track down the year, but I want to say 2009? I think I used this about 6 times.....It was sent back to White's just before the warranty ran out...

    Descrimination numbers?

    Do the descrimination numbers on the older tesoros match up or directly correlate to the descrimination categories on the newer machines? My descrimination runs 1-10.... Where is iron lost, foil, copper, silver etc?

    Need opinions quickly.....I found

    I found a barely used golden umax I can get for $300. It is the old tones. When I contacted tesoro to confirm I could get new tones put on they said they do not do that anymore as it isn't a current model. My other option is a new one for $449. Are the new tones worth $150?

    mineralization?

    How do I find out how mineralized my soil is? I called and talked to someone about detectors. He asked that question. When I answered with "I don't know", he was incredulous.... He asked how I cold detect and not know my mineralization...... Truth is, I just detect....I never thought that...
