    Took the Equinox 900 for a walk in the park the other day...

    Congrats on a awesome hunt. That's a swell day of digging. What little bit I've used my 900, the Coiltek 10"x5" lives on mine. I get at 18 on sens. in my park. With the ground damp/moist the coiltek 10x5 easily sees a 8" quarter.

    Any dealers have the V10X coils for the Xterra Pros yet?????

    I'm not going to lie, I want a Manticore so i myself can see what it's like. Now I seen a vid of the Manticore vs the Xterra Pro on the beach. The Xterra Pro missed 1 target I believe over the Manticore.

    I also think since soo many people flooded minelab with wanting the Manticore 8" & the XterraPro 8x6"coils, that minelab focused on them 2 coils only. They left behind/ havent got around to making the V10X coil yet.

    Yep I agree. Xterra Pro awesome machine! Lmao I bought the 900 just to have headphones for my Xterra pro. It's a coin magnet with the smaller coils. & it's no slouch with them small coils.

    Xterra Pro V8X coil.

    I've heard a few a getting there hands on them. I found a couple different shops I've called & they were in stock. The detector shops say they are selling fast thou. I was debating about getting 1 of the V8X coils, I got 2 new 6" equinox coils & would like to try the V8X on my xterra pro. Thanks.

    Xterra Pro V8X coil.

    I'm curious if any of you out there has had a chance to use the V8X coil on their Xterra Pro. I would like to hear some thoughts on it. I'm wondering what kinda depth & seperation is like. What's it like compared to the 6" Equinox coil. I know this has not been a ideal detecting year here...

    You might be right. I found some old vintage smudge pots & they were designed different. It probably was to a oil lamp/kerosene lamp.

    I'm betting since that was in a grove it was the top ring of a smudge pot. They were used to keep the fruit groves warm at night if there happen to be a cold night.

    Review of coiltek 10x5 with Equinox 900

    Congrats on the great hunt!!! Man them Walkers are a nice delight digging up. Yep I like my 10x5 coiltek coil. It's also quite deadly on the Xterra Pro.
