    Since I haven't posted anything new, here is a bottle I found while out metal detecting.A 4 oz. non carbonated Pee Wee A from the Rochester soda water company, Rochester,NY.

    Deleon can hunt

    Here is three nights worth of hunting after work with the Deleon. First ring found with it as well.I forgot to put the key and horse shoe that I found as well . Maybe I'll get to them later. The Deleon is a coin hunter extraordinaire.

    I thought someone put a penny on a train track but after looking closer it isn't. I'm in the process of cleaning it up, a lot of heated hydrogen peroxide soaks and swabbed with q tips to remove the corrosion. It's slowly getting there.

    At a all time low . I dug 18 coins today,no silver, all new crap. I dug a lot of garbage to find that many. I'm tired of digging junk. How accurate is the Deleon with the metal displays, I mean square nails disc high and so does big metal scrap.I'm beginning to hate pull tabs and light bulb bases.

    The ring was anchored In a strew of coins found in the grass perimeter around a basketball court. The sabre may be old but it can still hunt coins like crazy.Its raining here this morning,I'm about to get out as soon as it lets up a bit.

    Dollar tree Sunbeam batteries work like a charm. I think it might be my best coin day and I found another ring.There are no markings on the ring, I know nothing about them but sure do like finding them.

    threshold setting

    I read in the manual to set the threshold in all metal until you hear a slight hum. I'm not using all metal mode, I am setting to discriminate mode which allows the threshold setting to max out without the same humming noise. Does the threshold knob not apply to the discriminate setting ?
