    The unit would not turn off. After pressing the switch, the light would start flashing and never get the pointer to turn off. Had to remove the battery cover to turn pointer off.

    First Hunt Found SIlver

    Went out today for my first hunt of the year with updated 1.11 and found some silver. My very first 1944 P war nickel,1940 Quarter and a couple wheats. New 1939 permission and I only hit a small area of the front yard. Plan on going back Friday.

    His knowledge of this hobby will be truly missed. I remember he would always ask questions about the coil I was using. He also provided a lot of information about each coil. RIP Monte.

    Don't care for 1.11

    Reinstalled 1.11, and reset my machine last night. Went back to the site I was hunting yesterday. Machine was quite as a mouse. Oldkoot and DigDog thanks for the input.

    Downloaded 1.11, with no issues. I don't like all the chatter now with 1.11. Had the machine out earlier today and could not make it get quiet. Tried every setting change I could to make quieter. No luck.
