The things ya see while detecting…..

Those gals sound alot like a group I'd run into once in a while. They were the "Metal Detecting Groupies". Quite a gang but getting a little long in the tooth right now.

Attention all ATX owners past or present.

King, just scroll back on this site and you should find answers to most of your questions. Many by experienced hunters that have owned the ATX.

A signal not often come across

If that target turned out to be couple rusty items on a stainless key ring, would I still be a Despicable Knave ? As for carrying a rake on the beach, you got me on that one. I seen guys using plastic rakes on the beach but they didn't have a scoop. I'll have to check that out clad

    Ouch Nox 600,800

New Tech most likely can help with siffting for old silver, relics. But the way things are going at the parks and beaches, nothing can find what ain't there. I'm right now looking at over a 20 mile stretch of sanded in tourist beaches. It's bad guys it's bad. It aint like that all...

What are your beliefs about metal detector? Old Tech VS New?

Tried to hunt a bar that was built along a stream on the County Line. Mostly A Biker bar , outdoor tables, horse shoes nice Grove of trees. Bar been closed for a couple years. Anyway this was little over 20years ago. Had a Very old Garrett. Grounds were wall to wall, ankle deep in beer...

Rehoboth Beach I was the last to know

I get down there for a six day hunt. Usually lots of hunters even before dawn. I'm all alone. Can't figure it, six hunts seen maybe 4 other guys. Well found out during last spring a big storm came in washed out the whole beach. It got replenished, another storm came in , washed everything...

So the Axiom, think its curtins for the Atx

So, I'm reading that the Axiom is getting some Very good results from the Gold fields. That's to counter the Flack coming from some that haven't even touched the machine. Although I have no where to use the Axiom it's good to hear some positive early results. Good luck Garrett

So the Axiom, think its curtins for the Atx

Just hope the Axiom won't have all the cable troubles. Seems it's better constructed. Can't submerge it though. Wonder how many guys hunt gold with a detector? Definitely a tool for a specialist.

    "AXIOM"...Garrett's New Release

Whew, I haven't read this kind of back & forth since the early 2,000's. There were some really blistering Brand debates back then. Mostly anti Minelab comments. Most people tend to hunt whats closest to where they live. Like I live no where near any gold fields or near any Civil war...

New Garrett Release Coming Very Soon

At least make it useable in Salt Water to Ten feet anyway. Otherwise. If it betters the ATX with half the weight, they might have something.

    So, in the years ahead

Wonder how the number coins beening minted has gone down say in the last 5 years or so?
  18. Dancer

    So, in the years ahead

Yep, in the future Cladd coin finds are going to become fewer and fewer. Fresh drop finds already becoming scarce. The US goverment is way ahead of getting rid of the penny their working on getting rid of using all coins. Plastic, the young not being taught how to count, vender prices...

    I’m a total noob

Many times when smaller trees are planted, pegs with lines to the tree are used to support the tree until it gets bigger. I've come across these many times. It's best not to damage the roots, might kill the tree. You don't want to do that. Oh, and your getting good depth on that machine.

The feeling of the Return, has way more Value than it's weight in Gold.
