    Poor performance when the battery is low

    I run a fisher F5 and that has never happened to me. When my batteries start getting low my battery bars start modulating back and forth, I've never actually let the batteries go completely dead so there could be a window from when they start modulating and go completely dead that the...

    I'm with you Mark, I've been hunting for nine years now and I've still never dug a seated coin. Imt not giving up, each and every hunt I think today is going to be the day I get that seated coin.

    So who is buying all these detectors ?

    Some guys/gals have twenty to thirty metal detectors, that is one reason the metal detector companies are surviving. I'd say the veteran detector has an average of four detectors and is constantly buying more every year.
