    Dug up with horseshoes and blacksmith tools, Whatzit?

    Double barrel muzzle-loader

    Found this double barrel a couple of weeks ago in the California Mother lode very close to one of the Immigrant trails with my trusty Gold Bug SE. It's a muzzle-loader, 31" long. Would like to clean it to find some ID but it's probably too far gone for that. I don't know how to clean it anyway...
