    I Found The Golden Fleece..!!

    I contacted our MP to ask if it was allowed for me to drive the 8 miles to a beach, he said you could but you may get stopped by the police and fined so even he didn't know.

    I have about 300 beaches within an hours drive from the house here in Cornwall but because of lock down not allowed to go to any of them.     Quite right about pas being very slow. A friend of mine found a Roman ring on a Cornish beach, it took over two years before he got the pay out.

    Pushing the Depth Limits of the 800

    I remember reading an article in the UK that someone detecting with an 800 had a good signal and started to dig, at 28in they found the item but then contacted the authorities to report it, not heard anything else at the moment. Will report if I hear anything.

    Bonehead mistakes...........

    After loosing a couple of things because I was tired I now fix my plastic scoop metal trowel and pinpointer to my harness with 40lb nylon fishing line so when I leave an item behind I soon notice.

    Broke stock coil ear- Is it covered by warranty?

    Why are the latest coils so flimsy. I have an old Detector pro Wader with the small coil which I use in rocky areas. The coil is solid resin and has been knocked on rocks for hours most days that I am out for the past 10 years and has not broken and still works.
