    Thanks for the replies. I wear hearing aids and the back phones would probably be uncomfortable. These full headphones would be the answer. I am lucky enough to have my deus 2 on the way, but with a foot and a half of snow in Buffalo, NY, it may be a while to use it.

    I saw a U-tube video showing the Deus 2 WS6 puck fitting in a set of Quest pro 1702.1 headphones made for the Deus 1 WS4 puck. Will the WS6 puck operate properly in the Quest headphones?

    I have a CZ-5, made in Los Buenos, tuned by Tom D, salt program set to old coins, depth to 12 in his dirt and 3 coils. The detector has some wear from easy usage, but no dents or deep scratches. What would the machine be worth?

    I am considering purchasing an additional coil for my E-track. The choices are: Tornado 12x13, NEL Hunter D 8x12 or a SEF 10x12? I hunt old houses and farms in upstate NY, and would appreciate any advice.

    Didn't think of ABS pipe, but had a piece of PVC laying around. Your method sounds good also.

    The legs on the Deus are short and it tips over easily.A quick and inexpensive fix is: Cut a 1 inch wide ring from a 4" diameter PVC pipe. Cut a section from the ring approximately 40 percent. Paint it black if you want. Attach it to the Deus using zip ties.

    I have a Deus with 3 coils, the std 11", the 9" HF 55 kh and the 9.5" HF elliptical 74 kHz. I plan on prospecting in the New England area where the gold is small. Would I be better of using the 74 kHz coil looking for gold itself, or using the 9" 55 kHz coil looking for iron and heavy metals...

    CZ5 Conversion

    I contacted Tom D about has conversion of my CZ5 to CZ3D six years ago. He responded the next day which I thought was great service. He stated my machine was made in the Los Banos factory, had a depth of 12" and should still be in tune. The detector is in very nice condition. I am not interested...
