    Thanks Richard for the info. I would love to see a comparison of this one and the x , so i could decide which unit would fit my needs. My guess is performance would be very similiar, but interested in the differences in adjustments, and settings.

    Hey Richard, how much discrimination does the X have?. I had a vista gold when they first came out, It disc'ed out iron and a bit of small foil. Awesome depth and great audio on it.

    Waterproof Headphone Issues

    I have a pair of UW Pelso headphones , and they work great on the simplex. I have to turn down the volume on the machine , or a quarter will blow my ear drums out. I don't know where the problem lies with your units or phones.
