Might be wrong but having used both the CF77 and Cores

The choppy target audio and its response to deep iron I feel the Racer was founded on the CF77 software. The Cores did not respond to my hearing the way the Racer does. Reminds me off an early T2 or original F75. Just a thought having used all three at the same location.

    For DiggerPa

Here are 3 from 1987. Centreville Va. was early war camps of General Johnston. I dug over 100 confed. buttons from this area.

It was no contest. The winner and my champion is

The F19. My results are mine alone. The test was fair. I used the 11DD on my 19 to match the challengers coil size. I matched the signal response on both to be equal on an air test. Both ground balanced easily. The challenger reported three signals as good. The 19 said iron. I removed six...

    Just got my Racer

Will test it this weekend at a pounded site. Well made, lower rod is longer so I do not need a tall man rod. All metal reminds me of a T2. Easy to navigate the controls. Weight is well balanced.

F19 still the King of Virginia's Colonial Fields

Simplicity, light weight, fast separation, easy to use, iron volume, deep all metal mode. After 4 years of pounding a site with all the great detectors , to find over 100 targets mixed in or next to iron it changed the game for me. Targets are now few and far between waiting for the next...

    Getting Racer fever

And with several days of rain and warmer temps the snow should be gone but the ground will be saturated causing the magnetic field to spread out as we search for deep items. Not a good thing but it's time to get it on. Regards

    Some eye candy for Mud.

Nothing to do here. Got more snow today. Will be awhile before we can get back out.

For me the choice comes down to one key feature

The iron volume adjustment. Hunting colonial sites loaded with iron you can go mad without this feature. Did not like the way K dropped a bomb on D but it saved me from making two purchases.Regards
