    George & Gene

Got out for couple hours today to a local old park, ( late 1800's to present day). Park is a 17 mile long floodplain park. It is literally beat to death. So you have to think outside the box, and I am sure glad I did. But first a warning! You must use skeeter repellant, skeeter headnet...

    before the storm......

These pics were taken before the storm and loss of elecricity. The moon and clouds were taken at 6:00 pm, while it was still light out. I also have some pics of dogs having a good time at a local dog park, a lazy overheated squirrel, and some birds in my backyard eating bread. Enjoy! NGE

    My flooded park

After 6 1/2 inches of rain on Tuesday, I decided to go to my favorite park that I hunt a lot to assess the water levels. This river is normall anywheres from 20 feet wide to 60 feet wide and 3 feet to 8 feet deep. All the hills have been used since the late 1800's to the present to sled down...

    Something old, and something "UGLY"

Something ugly first:blowup: The Canadian "pooper" youngsters. The larger they get, the more ugly and mean they are. The group in this pic were actually trying out their "hissing" at me:starwars:. The next group of photos are of a friend of mine's 1963 Impala SS. A few years of total...

Went for a scooter ride with my camera. Am always looking for something to shoot:surrender:. I was adding to my album "Brick Flowers" and saw that the "long necked" ducks were enjoying the coolness of the morning (canadian geese) so I just had to do a couple "family" shoots as well as some...

    two spirits in one pic

The moon was out in the early afternoon yesterday. So I set up my tripod, put my cable release on my camera and waited. I was waiting for a jet or plane to cross the view of the moon, but that was not the case. So when this jet appeared and shutter lag, this is my results. Spirit Airlines...

Retiring........ My 61 year old Maytags

These are not pretty to look at as they are kinda old and dirty on the outside, where the sides and backs were most of the time either facing each other, or the wall. But the fronts were facing daily barrages of laundry for the past 61 years. We are the 3rd. owners of these old time quality...

Rode my scooterto my favorite fishing lake yesterday morning. The lake is called Newburgh, it is about a 15 mile ride from home. Took me about 45 minutes to get there. It was a beautiful clear morning. There was only one person fishing on the dock, so I took his picture from afar, also found...
