    Very wet park

    We have had about 3 inches of rain in 2 days, so I decided to head over to my fav park. I think the water in the creek was receding. Got some tree buds just opening, some young blue spruce with pine cone buds in macro....nge

    bird of a different feather

    Since I can't do anything stressful to my body for at least the next 4 weeks I decided to go to my favorite lake and see what was happenin'. The longer I stayed, the better it got.     got out again

    Went in search of un frozen ground today, didn't find enough worth detecting, that's why I always take my camera with me.....just in case. Took pics of a wide variety of subjects today, but no critters. Enjoy.........nge

    Finally, I got out this morning (with my camera)

    I went out this late morning, looking for nature emerging from their cold habitat's. I saw squirrels, cardinals, a woodchuck on the run, uncooperative woodpeckers, and a few strageler leaves. Enjoy..........nge

    cancer free

    I don't remember if I ever shared in here, that I had bladder cancer or not? But the last biopsy says I don't have it anymore...PTL! The doctor still wants to scrape my bladdder lining, sure glad I'll be out, in the hospital, for this. My " Greater Physician" has healed me.......nge

    I have collected a few old (1946 & 1947) newspapers through the years. They are way too large to scan, so I got my camera out and put the papaers on my desk. terrible lighting and a few shadows later, I came up with these headlines and a few ads, also some color Sunday funnies. Enjoy......NGE

    weird metal ring

    Fowl Photo's

    More fowl foto's. Went out early this a.m. was cloudy so I used that to my advantage. I went to a different lake in the park, this one is extremely shallow and its name is perrinville lake, named after a town that is no longer there. This lake is also in the same county park as the last one...

    has anyone ever set the etrac for silver only

    some older pics

    here are some older pics taken with a FujiFilm A-100 3.2mp camera. The golden retriever was 14 years old in the pic, we had to put her down when she was 16 1/2. The Lhasa Apso was a stray and was only 6 years old in this pic. These pics were taken in 2004 to 2005.
