    I previously used a Tesoro Bandito. It was made in the early 90's. I haven't done any metal detecting for about 10 years. My next outing will be a very old area in Arizona which had a park and plenty of desert area. I would like to find, old relics, jewelry , coins, and what ever surprises me.

    Sounds cool. If your finds are posted on here, I'll take a look later tonight. I like the looks of the Wave GL4 but I don't know anything about their company or their quality. Teknetics does have a good reputation.

    I'll be buying a new detector soon. I'm curious about Teknetics patriot, Teknetics liberator, Fisher F44, and a Bulgarian Wave GL4. Has anyone compared any of these detectors?
