New X35 coil which lower shaft?

The service center can replace a bad battery in the X35 coil.

New X35 coil which lower shaft?

Only the HF coils have the battery in the lower rod. X coils still have the battery in the coil itself. Same lower rod in any case.

The New Garrett "APEX" Coming Soon!

I hope it has a square arm rest like many of their detectors in the past. It's much better for those of us with square arms.

For those who have a kruzer and anfibio

The Advantages the 7" concentric coil has over the standard 7x11" is that the 7" is lighter, discriminates better, and it pinpoints much better. Separation definitely goes to the 11" DD coil. The 4x7" DD and the 5" round DD separate much better than the 7x11" Standard coil.

Can someone explain the Fe and Fe2 settings for me.

The higher the setting, the more the detector tries to call questionable targets Iron. This can help in eliminating iron trash targets from being dug. Everything is a trade off - The higher the setting, the more likely the detector will call a masked good target "iron" if the good target is near...

For those who have a kruzer and anfibio

I've had both and sold the Anfibio Multi and kept the Multi Kruzer. I did like the Anfibio standard coil better than the Kruzer's standard coil but other than that I found no difference in their performance. The reason I sold the Anfibio was that it had been at the time, the newer of the two so...

Almost gave up on the Anfibio

Stick with the Anfibio. The more you use it and understand it, the better you'll get with it. I have some pretty mineralized soil here in AZ but I've been using the Nokta?Makro detectors since the first Racer came out. Then progressed to the Racer 2, Impact, Anfibio Multi, and Multi Kruzer. I...

    Kruzer’s first outing.....the iron pit.

You had your Kruzer set up just as I would have used mine in a super trashy site. After running the gain at 89 for speed go back over the same area with the gain set as high a possible for that area. Once you go above 89 the depth increases dramatically at the cost of some separation. While the...

    New to the EQ

Did you buy new or used. The Nox saves the last settings you used and if you bought used it could have some goofy setting stored in it. I'd start off with doing a reset to factory settings and then make sure you read the owner's manual completely and not just the quick start guide. I can't...

The Deus isn’t a deep detector?

The Deus and ORX use the same coils. Actually the Dues can use 2 early XP coils that the ORX can't use but the latest 4 coils can be used by both. The coils are expensive because they are the detector. The control module and/or wireless headphones mostly control settings like audio, and...

Some Old Buttons, Small Jewelry And Silver Quarters

Great finds. I don't remember ever seeing a Cub Scout, Bob Cat pin being found. Brings back memories from about 55 years ago.

No offence taken. My quote on camp Ibis above is a direct quote from the BLM's own book.

    MI-4 pinpointer sensitivity?

My MI6 is at least 1" deeper on coins than my Garrett Pro pointers

    MI-4 pinpointer sensitivity?

I have the MI6 and supposedly its identical to the MI4 except the 6 has wireless connectivity to the ORX headphones. My MI6 is way more sensitive than my Garretts and my TRX. Are you sure you've successfully adjusted the sensitivity correctly?

New XP Deus to old Cabin Site

Nice collection of finds. I just recently add an ORX with the two HF coils as a backup to my Nox 800. I've really been having a good time detecting with the ORX and I'm thinking it may end up replacing my Multi Kruzer as my Go To ghost town hunter.

    A few recent freshwater hunts...

That looks like over tightening. Two years on my Nox using it 2 - 4 times a week and I've never needed to tighten those screws.

I'm going to guess that you're fairly new to detecting due to the fact that you're asking that question here in the first place. You'll not get a definitive answer from the BLM or any other government office. If you call and the person on the other end of the line says yes, then you can bet the...

No it's closed to detecting. A public forum like this isn't really the place to ask. :sneaky:

Best Bang for the $$$ in a Nokta?

I've had and used the Impact, Anfibio Multi, and the Multi Kruzer. I preferred the Anfibio and MMK to the Impact and they are both waterproof. If you'd like new and don't want to spend too much, the Simplex+ offers a lot of features for the money. Performance wise it's not up to par with the...
