    Will 12.5 by 8.5 nel hunter coil be a good replacement for 10.5?

    I just ordered a 12.5 by 8.5 hunter by nel for my exlpoer xs .Ive heard a lot of good things about it . Will it be as deep as 10.5? I was looking for less weight as well as performance . Any body that has this setup please let me know your experiences with it.

    A way to check big iron

    Get cable shorten

    I bought a 8 1/2 widescan last month, it had the 8 ft. cable. The dealer told me to send it in and they would shorten it as it turned out the coil was mistuned for my vaquero they tuned it and did cable too. What great service .I saw a post about this subject on forum so I thought I give my 2 cents.

    Compare 8.5 widescan with 11 by 8

    I'm new to this computer age old to detecting .I've been at it since the 70's ,I just got a vaquero a few months ago and do love it.Has any one compared the new 11 by8 to the 8.5 widescan?
