    V-3 depth question

    I think that depends on the soil you're in. For ME (and my buddy with his V3) the "on the fly" depth is by far more accurate. In pinpoint we usually add 2" to the indication. With both machines having the same result, I have to assume it's our soil.

    Interesting. I found a 1958 (I think that was the date) canadian nickel. It rang in the 90's and came out of the ground like silver (as opposed to the usual redish or greenish color of old nickels found in our area).

    Whites made the colors different in hi-pro to demonstrate how you can change up the color theme of any program.     I think this perspective is coming from the textured finish and lack of graphics (because there is no room for them). It never stuck me as cheap looking though. I think it's the best looking coil whites makes.

    V3 strikes gold!

    Very Cool Aaron! Congrats! I'm digging a lot more tabs to but also more gold. 2 14K rings so far. Not a lot but considering I dug 2 in the 10 years prior to the V it;s not bad.
