    1800s Schoolhouse goodies

    got lucky last week at old schoolhouse permission, previously detected but found some goodies. Ring was unfortunately gold plated; the CW token was cool, had an Indian head face. toy spurs and lead badge were fun to find.

    Hoping…

    don't live in CW areas, found this up in Michigan this past October, upon research, believe it belonged to a private in the 11th Michigan Infantry, Company A. Had initials A.M. cared in the back. Look closely, you can see it, his daughter and mother had the same initials. KOOOOOOL.

    Help with an Eagle Button (again)?

    think the guys have it right, a military button fashioned into some kind of jewelry, belt, bracelet. It definitely looks two piece. found the below a few weeks back, looks similar, it's a civil war general services cuff button. fascinating in learning folks made these into jewelry.

    found on permission a few weeks ago, what's the large circular object? Its brass rang up like a silver half dollar, This one was beveled near the top....Giddy up!
