    Good find with the Etrac

I think I see something on the token that says shoes and wonder if it a ad for shoes. The Swatika on the token is actually back word for the Swatika that the Germans used and was used after the Navaho use as a good luck symbol from what I understand. I found several of these over the years and...

I can do the meters too and let people know I will cut holes in the decal where the screw are to take them apart. I want to check them out before I take them apart to see if they work correctly. I just look to make sure I have the kit yet and made one up to make sure with the 3 different...

(Want to buy) WTB: Patriot Meter for Sovereign.

You say it only goes to 500, did you adjust the calibration control on the back of the meter?? If it only goes to 500 and no higher when you go over a copper penny or a dime or bigger than there may be the coarse calibration control may be off inside the meter. I have always set the control in...

(Want to buy) WTB: Patriot Meter for Sovereign.

Yes I have the kits to change the 550 meter to a 180 meter as I believe in the 180 and save from digging trash, but maybe its just me. If you know how solder, they are not bad to do. the bad part is the screws to take it apart are under the decal. so being they are glued on it is hard to get...

(Want to buy) WTB: Patriot Meter for Sovereign.

I havent seen any of the Patriot meters around for quite some time. I tried 2 different ones as I thought the first one was bad, but the second one was the same so it was sold also, went back to my 180 meters which I liked as I was used to them with their digital numbers so I could ID those...

Does Nokta Makro not honor their warranty?

They may have changed their Warranty from a couple years ago, the warranty was transferable but you had to have a copy of the original invoice to see when it was purchase and who bought it. I hope they didnt change it as I bought a new one a while back and may be selling it and have never used...

    Fargo finds?

We have seen a lot of detectors up here in Fargo since 1973 when I started. The detector I used was a whites coinmaster 3 which did not disc and when I was able to get many of my gold rings as there were very little pultabs, but we had the crown caps and had to learn to tell the difference ...

    Sovereign modification

The secret to the Sovereign is learning it well, I have always said that the ones that design the Sovereigns know how it will work the best. That said I bought one that had a mod from someone done to it and tried it out and found the tones were set so most target sound higher pitched, it was...

One thing I would check is try a magnet and see if it stick to it as chance are then it would be iron, if it dont then keep trying. Good looking SLQ

Just curious is this 1917 SLQ the one many had a problem with as it was bare breast , then in 1918 they were changed and liberty breast was covered up. Any Standing lib quarter with a readable date is a excellent find and hard to come by. Rick
