    coil cables

    i have four coils for my detector and all of the cables outer coverings are falling to pieces.is this normal for the xterra to start falling to pieces once out warranty. has anyone else found this?i am not happy.emubob

    omega 8000 settings

    i have a an omega 8000 and i have found that once you turn it on it doesn't stop chattering no matter what sense you put it on.it's definatly not a silent detector until a target is found.i bought a 8"concentric coil to use with it hoping that would alleviate the problem,it didn't.different...

    vaquero

    twice now in the last couple of weeks i have been told to buy an approved detector and not use that toy.i was using a vaquero in the parks.they were using the minelab ctx3030.i couldn't afford one of them even if i wanted to,besides i'm happy with the vaquero.emubob
