    F/S Beachscanner MK2

    I have a Beach Scanner MK2 (P.I.by Eric Foster) with the SAT mod done by Mr. Bill. The coil is 11.5" and is mounted on a straight shaft. It is configured for hip mounting, (can't be shaft mounted unless you get very creative) I have a belt that works nicely with a homemade goodie pouch attached...

    F/S Detectorpro Diver

    Ace 250 at the beach

    Has anyone taken their Ace 250 to a salt water beach? I am very interested how it does in the wet sand. Also, this may be a silly question but does the unit have a backlight and do the targets display a number when it hit on one? Thank You HH Paul Massachusetts

    this may be a small thing(Batteries)

    Will the x-terra work ok with the newer NIMH batteries. I realize that they are only 1.2 vols but was just curious. The battery manufacturers advertise that the rechargables will power most consumer electronics, but I wonder about metal detectors. thanks HH Paul massachusetts

    help with ID
