    Short hunt with my Grandson..:twodetecting:

    No coins found but some interesting items surfaced just the same. So far I've a total of two, non-matching, broken porcelain dolls arms and the same number of non-matching legs. The rusty item has us both scratching our heads?? I posted it in the Whatzit Forum hoping someone can shed some light...

    My best guess was......:shrug:....

    I retrieved this item in a area that was active from around 1860 through 1920. My first thoughts were that it was a trigger off some type of a gun. But as there is no hole for a pivot point that idea seems rather remote. Any ideas? Not knowing is driving........ :wacko:
