    Need a 6" Coil for the Manticore

    I would think the M8 would be nearly the same and probably better as far as I’m concerned. If you overlap your swings as if you were swinging a 6” round then you’ll get the same separation unless you have trash above AND below your target and all 3 in alignment at the same time.

    It’s good to stay with one detector and probably smart too but I use even my simple “low performance“ ones at times because I like them in other ways.

    The best advice I can give to anyone running one of the original Xterras is never disc anything except maybe the highest block. It slows down the detector a lot and you’ll have to swing very slow to not miss targets. Without, it is fairly fast.

    The original Xterras are slow if you disc out things. With no disc they’re fairly fast.

    Nice machine but slow. I think it’s pretty much the same as the Safari. Guessing about half the folks that have owned one of them and the Etrac say their performance is similar other than the 2 numbers, disc screen and the Etrac has a faster processor.

    Very talented and intelligent man, not in tech but also knowledgeable of what pep would like. From what I seen of his writings and post on forums he wanted to help others and had a good outlook on life. The world lost a Good One. RIP
