    What is this anomaly??

12 to 15 kHz was a frequency range picked out early by George Payne as being high energy and more responsive over a wide range of conductive targets and still able to handle wet salt and iron mineral. He always said odd frequency harmonics could get you in trouble with 60 cycle emi. (and the...

    Brand new Legend

Easier than a V3i: an airliner has a copilot on the stick at the same time.

Another drastic price reduction for the Nokta Legend.

I think bitcoin and other "crypto" are seen as trash.

Another drastic price reduction for the Nokta Legend.

There are many factors affecting a price and because something costs less does not mean quality or performance is less: conversely higher price does not equate to better. What does "VLF is just a surface picker" mean?

Another drastic price reduction for the Nokta Legend.

Sounds like the Turkish lira was devalued. (check its history) Maybe there is a recession in Turkey, or in Europe. With ML made in Malaysia because its one of the cheapest labor markets, ask why they are so much higher. At the same time shipping for ML might be much higher: a trip through the...

Another drastic price reduction for the Nokta Legend.

That's conditional and no true, and a good detector can tell you not to dig a good target.

    Brand new Legend

Its not complicated, just unknown. (you want complicated try a V3i)

If its silent how do you know its there? Tom is the one of the best on explaining things. (Is the comment on his site?) Could he have been cloned?

Is Nokta Makro going off the rails

I got to the point I'd hit a hardware store and get a varied group of nylon nuts/bolts and give them away whether I had done business with people or not: a little generosity goes much further than a newspaper ad, and word gets around. In some ways we are a mixed but close knit group. Some of the...

    Searchscan metal detectors?

Search Scan was sold by Anchor Electronics in Florida, and it had good reviews with 10++ inches on a nickel. It was very reasonably priced.

Is Nokta Makro going off the rails

Where is he? (FT lists people @ amazon & other sites that are not authorized agents: it brings things like this to mind. Ebay has people selling Electroscope type units too.) When I dealt I bought from distributors. These guys were really on top of things too. When Ed Moody dropped Compass and...

Is Nokta Makro going off the rails

He is a duly authorized factory agent and works for them representing the company: being a remote company in another country does not change their obligations. (And the dealer IS NM.) His lack of customer support is a direct reflection on the company and business practices and they are to blame...

Well here's something I just found out today when I called to get an update on my cz20 repair..

Its not the loop covering more ground because of size that gets deep hits, but being ground balanced and precisely centered over the target that brings in the deep targets as the field is cone shaped. Thats often why detectors still hit targets in hard hit fields, and at time maybe not extremely...

Well here's something I just found out today when I called to get an update on my cz20 repair..

To quote Dave Johnson, "The person I talked to on the phone had a Mexican accent, must be stupid." .....(smarter than you think, and speaks better Spanish than you do, too,) I know personally that people who answer the phone or emails are not the people you think you are talking to. Sure glad...

Well here's something I just found out today when I called to get an update on my cz20 repair..

Fisher has always been great with customer service, even in Los Banos: llewellyn with customer service there was great. I'd love to hear how you came up with the conclusion someone went from one detector company to another because both are in the same state, 640 miles apart. Its more likely he...

Well here's something I just found out today when I called to get an update on my cz20 repair..

The hot rock was not a test, but an actual field result with my 70Pro: my friend's CZ-6 with 8" loop did not detect it. As to size the 10.5" the circumference is 32.99", the 12" is 39.7" That is empirical data not psychological bias (I felt it in the elbow too.) Numbers do not lie, nor my pain...

NOKTA MAKRO (LEGEND) GETTING SUED - PATENT INFRINGEMENT

Under democrat control that seems true: 0bama targeted and killed an American citizen in Yemen with a missile who had never been accused, charged or indited in a US court or been served with papers: but it was election time here. (And an unarmed female vet was killed in cold blood Jan. 6th...

New version NOX / Old version NOX

Does anyone here remember 3M Weatherstrip Adhesive? It is the most evil goop you can ever try to get off you, but it will waterproof ANYTHING! i used it on motorcycle gaskets till I found out taking them back apart later was a near impossibility. If you think you know the places it leaks, try it...
